Before You Start

- You can connect more platforms later from Connections.
Connect Instagram
- Open TRESSO.
- Go to Connections.
- Select Instagram.
- Follow the secure sign-in prompts.
- Approve the requested permissions.
- Return to TRESSO.
- Confirm Instagram shows Ready.
Connect YouTube
YouTube
- Open TRESSO.
- Go to Connections.
- Select YouTube.
- Sign in with Google.
- Choose the YouTube channel you want to post to.
- Approve the requested permissions.
- Return to TRESSO.
- Confirm YouTube shows Ready.
What Ready Means
Ready means TRESSO can use that platform when you add a video to your queue. It does not post anything until you schedule or post a video.
For scheduled posts to publish automatically, the Scheduler must also be On.
View Counts
YouTube view counts appear automatically in History once a Short is published and YouTube reports its first numbers.
Instagram Reels view counts need Instagram insights. This comes from a professional account plus the insights permission you grant while connecting. After you connect or reconnect Instagram, your Reels view counts fill in on the next sync.
Some older Instagram posts may show "Views unavailable." That is expected and not an error - TRESSO shows the real number when it is available and never shows a fake zero.
To pull the latest numbers, use Refresh Views in History. TikTok views are coming with TikTok.
If Something Does Not Connect
Make sure you are signed into the correct account.
Try again in a fresh browser window.
Confirm Instagram is a professional account.
Confirm you have access to the selected YouTube channel.
Return to Connections and check the platform status.
Next: Queue Your First Videos
