Queueing Videos Step-by-Step

Everything you need to get videos into your queue, lined up correctly, and ready to post.

Before You Start

This guide focuses only on getting videos into your queue, lined up correctly, and ready to post.

How TRESSO Works

TRESSO is designed around a simple workflow:

  1. Add your videos
  2. Review and organize them
  3. Assign dates and times
  4. Queue them
  5. Leave them ready to post

You can work with individual videos, entire folders, presets, or fully manual scheduling.

Two things to know: A platform showing Ready in Connections means it can be used. For scheduled posts to publish on their own, the Scheduler must also be On. Ready and Scheduler On are different settings - you need both.
When a post counts as posted: A queued post is marked posted only when every platform you selected succeeds. If one platform fails, the item moves to your Failed list and shows which platform succeeded and which did not. You can Retry (this retries only the platform that failed) or Abandon it. A first-time failure reads "Failed to post."

Step 1 - Set Up Your Defaults (Optional but Recommended)

Defaults save time because TRESSO automatically applies them whenever videos are added. Go to Settings → Posting Defaults.

Default Platforms

Instagram only · YouTube only · Instagram and YouTube

Default Posting Times

Examples9:00 AM   12:00 PM   6:00 PM

Default Campaign and Queue Behavior

Choose a default campaign, then set whether new videos use the next available slot, a preset schedule, or require manual scheduling.

Tip: Set defaults once and TRESSO applies them to every video you add - saving you from repeating the same entries every session.

Option 1 - Queue Videos Using a Preset

The fastest method. TRESSO assigns dates and times automatically based on your preset.

Fastest Method

Using a Preset

1

Create or select a preset

Preset ExamplesDaily at 9 AM  ·  Mon/Wed/Fri  ·  Twice per day  ·  Weekdays only
2

Open Queue → Add Videos

Select Use Preset and choose your desired preset.

3

Drag and drop your videos

TRESSO assigns dates automatically based on the preset order.

Auto-Assignment ExampleVideo 1 → Monday 9 AM Video 2 → Tuesday 9 AM Video 3 → Wednesday 9 AM Video 4 → Thursday 9 AM Video 5 → Friday 9 AM
4

Review the queue

  • Dates and times
  • Platforms (IG / YT)
  • Captions and hashtags
  • Campaign assignment
5

Click "Queue Videos"

Your videos are now scheduled and ready to post.

Option 2 - Queue Videos Without a Preset

Use this when you want complete control over each posting date and time.

Full Manual Control

Manual Scheduling

1

Open Queue → Add Videos

Drag and drop your videos into the queue.

2

Set dates and times manually

Example ScheduleVideo A → June 10 at 9 AM Video B → June 12 at 2 PM Video C → June 15 at 6 PM
3

Review each row, then click "Queue Videos"

  • Platform assigned
  • Date and time set
  • Title, caption, hashtags filled in
  • No duplicate or missing dates

Adding a Folder of Videos

Best option when working in bulk. Import an entire folder at once.

1

Organize your videos on your computer

Folder Structure ExampleSummer Content / 01-Beach-Tips.mp4 02-Sunset-Reel.mp4 03-Travel-Hack.mp4 04-Morning-Routine.mp4 05-Weekend-Vlog.mp4
2

Name files in posting order

Good naming: 01-Beach-Tips.mp4  ·  02-Sunset-Reel.mp4
Avoid: video-final-final.mp4  ·  newvideo2.mp4  ·  test123.mp4
3

Open Queue → Import Folder → Select the folder

TRESSO scans and imports all supported video files.

4

Review imported videos

You will see thumbnail, filename, platform, date, time, caption, and hashtags for each video. Apply a preset or set dates manually.

Drag-and-Drop Ordering

The order in your queue determines posting order. TRESSO schedules from top to bottom - the first video gets the first available slot.

Example1. Monday Motivation → first available slot 2. Travel Tips → second available slot 3. Product Demo → third available slot 4. Customer Story → fourth available slot
Important - Reordering Videos: If you drag videos into a new order, use Update Dates From Current Order to realign posting dates with the new sequence. Always verify the queue after reordering.
Reorder ExampleOriginal: After Reorder + Update Dates: 1. Video A → Jun 1 1. Video C → Jun 1 2. Video B → Jun 2 2. Video A → Jun 2 3. Video C → Jun 3 3. Video B → Jun 3

Titles, Captions and Hashtags

Titles

Each video needs a title. Keep them descriptive and specific.
