Help and Guidance
Reconnect TikTok.
If TikTok shows a connection error or a post fails with a permission problem, reconnecting your TikTok account usually fixes it. It takes under a minute.
Good to know: TikTok posting is fully approved and live in TRESSO. Reconnecting simply refreshes your account's permission, so approve all requested access on TikTok's screen and your scheduled posts will publish automatically.
Reconnect in three steps
1. Open Connections
- In TRESSO, open the Connections page and find the TikTok card showing an error.
2. Click Reconnect TikTok
- Click Reconnect on the TikTok card. A TikTok login window opens.
- Sign in to the TikTok account you post from.
3. Approve all access
- On TikTok's authorization screen, approve all requested access and confirm. The TikTok card should then show Connected.

Need support from a person?
If reconnecting does not clear the error, open a ticket and include:
Open a Support Ticket
- The exact error message and which step failed
- The TikTok username you are connecting
- Whether the post was scheduled or posted now
