Help and Guidance

Why a post did not publish.

When a post fails, TRESSO shows a plain-English reason on that post and retries automatically. Find your reason below and follow the matching fix.

Good to know: A failed post is not lost. TRESSO retries on its own, and each failed post displays the reason it could not publish — so you can match it to one of the causes below.
Find your reason
a. Reconnect needed / token expired
  1. Platform login tokens expire periodically. Reconnect the account: Instagram and Facebook, TikTok, or YouTube.
b. Missing permission
  1. A required permission was not granted. Reconnect the account and approve all access on the platform's screen — leaving any box unchecked causes this error.
c. Platform limit reached (rate limit)
  1. The platform temporarily limited how many posts it accepts. Wait a few hours and retry — TRESSO will also retry on its own.
d. File rejected (format or size)
  1. The platform rejected the video's format or size. Re-export the video in a standard short-video format and a smaller size, then re-add it to the queue.
e. TRESSO was not running at the scheduled time
  1. The scheduler only posts while TRESSO is open and your computer is awake and online. See Scheduler requirements and Stop your computer from sleeping.
f. Unexpected platform error
  1. Retry the post first. If it keeps failing, contact support with a Support Report so we can see the exact failure reason.
