Help and Guidance

Scheduler requirements.

TRESSO runs on your own computer, so scheduled posts go out only while that computer can do the work. Four things must be true at the scheduled time — here they are.

The rule: TRESSO posts a scheduled video only when TRESSO is open, your computer is awake, your computer is online, and the scheduler is turned on. If all four are true at the scheduled time, the post goes out.
The four requirements
1. TRESSO is open
  1. Keep TRESSO running. Closing the window to the tray is fine, but fully quitting the app stops the scheduler.
2. Your computer is awake
  1. If the computer is asleep at the scheduled time, the post cannot run. Set your power settings so it stays awake during your posting window — see Stop your computer from sleeping.
3. Your computer is online
  1. Publishing sends your video to each platform over the internet, so the computer needs a working connection at the scheduled time. A brief drop is fine — TRESSO retries — but a computer that is offline when a post is due cannot send it.
4. The scheduler is on
  1. In TRESSO, make sure the scheduler is turned on. Look for the scheduler toggle and confirm it is enabled. When it is off, queued posts wait but do not go out.
Missed posts and retries
What "missed posts" means
  1. A missed post is one whose scheduled time passed while the computer was asleep or TRESSO was closed — so nothing could run at that moment.
  2. When TRESSO is open and awake again, it picks missed posts back up and retries them, rather than skipping them silently.
  3. To avoid missed posts entirely, keep TRESSO open and prevent sleep during your posting hours.
Need support from a person?
If the scheduler is on, the app was open, and posts still did not go out, open a ticket and include:
  • The scheduled time and the platform
  • Whether the computer was awake at that time
  • The reason TRESSO shows on the post
