Help and Guidance
Reconnect YouTube.
If YouTube shows a connection error, or a post fails with a permission error, reconnect your YouTube channel. The one thing that matters most: approve every box on Google's consent screen.
Approve all access: Google shows each permission as its own checkbox. The upload permission is what lets TRESSO publish your videos — if you leave it unchecked, posts fail with a permission error. Always approve all access.
Reconnect in three steps
1. Open Connections
- In TRESSO, open the Connections page and find the YouTube card showing an error.
2. Click Reconnect YouTube
- Click Reconnect on the YouTube card. A Google sign-in window opens.
- Choose the Google account that owns the YouTube channel you post to.
3. Approve all access on Google's screen
- On Google's consent screen, check every access box — including the upload permission — then continue. If Google warns the app is unverified, choose to continue.
- Finish, and the YouTube card should show Connected.

Need support from a person?
If reconnecting does not clear the error, open a ticket and include:
Open a Support Ticket
- The exact error message and which step failed
- The YouTube channel name
- Whether you approved all boxes on Google's consent screen
