What this does
Engagements counts the actions people took on what you published - likes, comments, shares, saves and clicks - over the period you choose (Last 30 days unless you change it), for the destination you have selected.
How to use it
- Open the Dashboard and read the Engagement card in Performance Overview.
- Pick a destination at the top of the Dashboard to see the engagement for that account.
What you'll see
Each destination contributes only the actions its platform actually reports:
- Facebook, Instagram and YouTube report likes and comments.
- Bluesky reports likes, replies and reposts.
- Pinterest reports saves and clicks.
- TikTok engagement is not available yet: TRESSO does not read likes, comments or shares from TikTok in this version. No setting changes that and reconnecting does not help.
- Threads posting is coming soon.
When the numbers update
TRESSO reads the numbers from each platform when you open the Dashboard, at most once every 15 minutes. On the Dashboard, choose the refresh button beside "Updated" to ask the platforms straight away. Posts published more than 30 days ago keep the last numbers TRESSO read. Pinterest figures cover the last 90 days and appear once Pinterest finishes processing them. If a platform cannot be reached, TRESSO keeps the last real numbers and the time they were read; it never replaces them with zero.
Good to know
TRESSO only counts what a platform genuinely returns. A destination that reports nothing contributes nothing - it is never counted as zero, because "nobody engaged" and "the platform did not tell us" are different facts and TRESSO will not blur them.
Every card and chart on the Dashboard covers the account you have selected. The Views and Engagements cards, the Views and Engagement charts, Published and Posting Success Rate cover the period you have selected; In Queue and Needs Review show what is waiting or needs you now.
The Engagement chart follows the same rule as the Views chart: a day is plotted only when TRESSO has that day's actual figure, and a day without one is a gap - never zero and never an even share of a larger total. The verified total stays visible, and when any day is unavailable the chart says "Total verified. Daily breakdown partially unavailable."
