What this does
Reconnect required means the destination is still set up, but the permission that lets TRESSO publish to it has expired or been withdrawn. Nothing has been lost.
How to use it
- Open Connections.
- Find the destination showing Reconnect required.
- Choose Reconnect and sign in again when the platform asks.
- Confirm it now reads as connected.
Good to know
Platforms expire access on their own schedule, and changing your password or reviewing connected apps can also end it. This is normal and does not mean anything is broken.
Instagram accounts and Facebook Pages are checked once a day, each with its own login, so access Meta withdraws - for example after a Facebook security reset - shows as Reconnect required the same day, with one alert.
Posts already scheduled to that destination stay in the Queue. Reconnect the same account before their time arrives. At posting time TRESSO checks the connection again, and that it is the same account, before it publishes. If it still cannot publish, that destination is recorded as failed with the reason, and you can retry it.
