What this does
When the Scheduler is off, queued posts stay exactly where they are and simply wait. Nothing is lost and nothing is deleted.
How to use it
- Open the Queue, or Diagnostics.
- Turn the Scheduler on.
- Confirm the screen now shows it as on.
Good to know
A scheduled time that passed while the Scheduler was off is recorded as missed rather than quietly published later. You can see what was affected and decide what to do.
