Publishing Profiles

Each brand's accounts, brand voice, posting defaults and saved text, kept together in a Publishing Profile.

What this does

TRESSO does not create or edit your video. A Publishing Profile keeps everything that belongs to one brand together: the accounts it posts to, its brand voice and guidance, its posting defaults, and its saved endings and hashtag sets.

Each profile has its own guidance. It appears as insertable suggestions in the post window, and a connected AI assistant can use it.

How to use it

  1. Open Settings > Posting Defaults > Publishing Profiles, then choose Create profile or Edit profile.
  2. Choose the profile's posting accounts and save the profile.
  3. Open 2. Brand voice and guidance, and start with Essentials - the basics about your business.
  4. Work through the rest as you go. Nothing is mandatory. Choose Save profile to keep your changes.

What you'll see

The profile editor has four parts: 1. Posting accounts, 2. Brand voice and guidance, 3. Posting defaults, and 4. Saved endings and hashtag sets. Brand voice and guidance has six sections, and each one explains how TRESSO uses it:

  • Essentials - what your business is and what it does.
  • Audience - who you are talking to.
  • Voice - how your posting text should sound. Pick from ten voice words, or add your own.
  • What Makes You Different - the reasons someone chooses you.
  • Offers - what you want people to do next.
  • Language - words and phrases to use, and ones to avoid.

Hashtag sets live in 4. Saved endings and hashtag sets. Your changes are kept when you choose Save profile.

A hashtag set belongs to the profile it is ticked in, and a post offers its own profile's sets. A set you create from inside a post is added to that post's profile automatically. A set that is not ticked in any profile is still offered in posts, under Not assigned to a profile, so nothing you saved goes missing; tick it in a profile to make it that profile's alone. One profile's sets are never offered to another profile's posts.

Saved endings work the same way: a post offers its own profile's endings first, then any ending not ticked in a profile under Not assigned to a profile. Another profile's endings are never offered.

Good to know

Anything you insert is a starting point, not a decision. You review and edit before anything is scheduled or posted.
