What this does
New Post is for one video going to one or more destinations. Different platforms need different information, so TRESSO shows you the fields each destination actually requires.
How to use it
- Select the finished video.
- Choose a Publishing Profile, or select the accounts manually. You can add or remove destinations after applying a profile.
- Complete the required fields for each destination.
- Review the posting text and hashtags.
- Post Now, or choose a future date and time up to 12 months ahead.
What you'll see
Schedule. Apply schedule preset (optional) sits above Date and Time. Choosing a preset fills in the date and time with that preset's next recommended slot, and the Posting Preview changes with it. Changing the date or time yourself clears the preset - the post then uses exactly what you typed. The post is scheduled for the date and time shown in the Posting Preview.
Post Now publishes straight away; it is a button, not a setting. It is highlighted only while that post is being sent.
Hashtags. Type a hashtag with or without the #. TRESSO publishes each one with exactly one #, and never changes the words in your caption. Choosing a saved hashtag set fills the field with that set's hashtags.
Text limits. Each platform has its own character limit - Bluesky's is 300. Platform limits shows each destination's caption and hashtag count against its limit. When hashtags would take a destination over its limit, TRESSO posts the caption with as many whole hashtags as fit and says so, for example "Bluesky: 14 of 20 hashtags included to fit its 300-character limit." You can choose which hashtags each account uses: customize that account's caption and turn individual hashtags off for it. A limit never stops your other destinations. When the caption alone is too long for one destination, every other destination is scheduled or posted, and only that one is held with the reason and the fix - customize its caption, or remove it from the post.
Saved hashtag sets. With a Publishing Profile chosen, the list shows that profile's sets, then any set that is not assigned to a profile. Another profile's sets are never shown. Choose + Add new hashtag set to create one without leaving the post: it is saved into this post's profile, selected straight away, and your draft is kept.
After publishing. When every account has published, the post shows Published successfully with View in Archive and Close - there is nothing left to send. If some accounts published and others did not, each account's result is listed and Retry failed destinations sends only the ones that failed.
Good to know
TRESSO will not schedule the post until every Required field is filled in. Once it is scheduled, each destination publishes and retries on its own.
TRESSO never chooses a profile for you, even when only one exists. Create and edit profiles in Settings, under Posting Defaults. The post keeps the exact accounts it was created with; editing the profile later does not change it.
