What this does
Publishes a post to its destinations straight away, rather than at the time you scheduled.
How to use it
- In the Queue, choose Post now on the post's row - or open the post and choose Post now there.
- TRESSO asks Post now? and lists each platform and account the post will go to. Only the accounts still waiting are listed: a destination that has already published is not sent again.
- Choose Post now, then watch each destination report its own result as it completes.
What you'll see
Destinations finish one at a time and each reports separately. If one destination fails, the ones that succeeded stay published - the post is not marked failed because a single destination did not go through, and you can retry just the destination that failed.
A text limit never stops the other destinations. If the caption alone is too long for one platform, every other destination posts and only that one is held, with the reason and how to fix it. If only the hashtags are too long, TRESSO includes as many whole hashtags as fit and says how many.
When every destination has published, the post shows Published successfully with View in Archive and Close. Post now is no longer offered for it, so a finished post cannot be sent a second time.
Good to know
While Test Mode is on, Post now prepares everything but publishes nothing, and TRESSO says so plainly rather than reporting a success that did not happen.
Your computer needs to be awake while a post is publishing. Post now uploads immediately, so leave TRESSO running until every destination has reported.
